Hello and Welcome, friends!

This is what I want you to hear today:

You are WONDERFULLY MADE and I believe you are more than just a face.

Beauty influencers and marketing firms work really hard to convince us it doesn't matter what we put on our skin as long as it gets us closer to "perfect". But here's the thing: What you put on your skin and how it's made matters - how you feel about yourself matters. As someone who struggles with low self esteem, I know first-hand the positive impact healthy skin can have, and I can tell you without a doubt seeking health and balance with your skin can change the way you feel about yourself... and that can change your life.

I've been trying to capture beauty and create art for as long as I can remember. I used to spend hours painting alongside my grandmother in her studio when I was young. From there, I fell in love with art and music and threw myself into the arts in middle and high school, and grew into a woman searching for her God-given purpose. I went to college to become an intaglio printmaker, went to grad school to study fine art, ran a studio for a national geographic photographer, started a custom wedding invitation design business, worked as a graphic designer, opened a tax practice (math is full of beauty), became a professional makeup artist and started a wedding makeup artist business.

Somewhere in the middle of finding my way taking care of my very sensitive skin started to come into focus. Nothing from the store worked for me, so I began hand-making skincare for myself and eventually used my formulas on makeup clients. I decided to take a leap of faith and turn my skincare passion-project into a business when I realized the need for clean, simple skincare for people like me. It's my sincere desire to use my gifts to make things that help others and make the world a more beautiful place. I would be honored if one of my products took up residence on your bathroom counter!

I fell in love with the love of my life and after years of infertility, became a mama to our miracle babies - two amazingly joyful little girls. I've been married to Russell for eleven years, and we live on our farm in Texas with our 2 kitties: the fat'n happy Crabman, and the wants-attention-all-the-time Roxie. I went through a life-changing jaw surgery in 2021 and you can read about that here.

I love Jesus, my friends, and my family. My goal is simple: to make an impact and use what God has given me to help other people and fulfill my purpose. I LOVE food (anything drenched in queso, really), trying new gluten-free recipes, a long morning walk, listening to podcasts, watching TV (shout out to my British TV watchers!), snacks, watching TV while eating snacks, puns, and quoting A few Good Men. You can check out my blog for the latest skincare info.

Lastly, thanks for being here. I mean it. Please don't hesitate to reach out, seriously! I'd love to meet you. :)
